Business Loan FAQs
To be eligible, your business must be a Private Limited Company registered with ACRA, the applying director must be a Singapore Citizen, Permanent Resident, or a foreigner residing in Singapore, and the business must have been in operation for at least 6 months. Your consultant will confirm any further requirements during your application.
This business loan is for owners and directors of Private Limited companies registered with ACRA. If you are a sole proprietor, in a partnership, a freelancer, or otherwise self-employed, please consider our Personal Loan instead.
Common uses include managing cash flow, purchasing stock or equipment, business renovation or expansion, and bridging short-term gaps between contracts or payments. There is no requirement to submit a formal business plan, though you will need to explain your intended use during the application.
You will generally need your company's ACRA business profile (BizFile), the applying director's NRIC, FIN or passport with a valid pass, and supporting documents such as bank statements or the director's Notice of Assessment. Your consultant will confirm the exact list based on your circumstances.
Each application is assessed individually, taking into account your company's ACRA registration and operating history together with the applying director's information. Interest is capped at 4% per month, the same limit set by the Ministry of Law that applies to our other loan products. Your consultant will confirm your specific loan amount and rate before you sign.
You can check the official Registry of Moneylenders maintained by the Ministry of Law. Always apply only through official websites or verified contact channels to avoid unlicensed lenders.
If you are facing financial difficulties, you may wish to approach a social service agency for credit counselling and help negotiating a repayment plan, such as Credit Counselling Singapore. The Registry of Moneylenders cannot negotiate with lenders on your behalf, as this is a matter of private contract.
